Sucker Punch (2011)

Starting off with one of my favorite movies ever. Sucker Punch is an action packed film that is full of fun and sad moments. It is directed by Zack Snyder who has also famously done the Justice League (2017) movie. This has to be one of his best ever movies.
I cannot say enough good things about this movie. It has such a good soundtrack, great acting, and most importantly a great story. There are lots of great actors in this film and it is just so beautiful to watch. I highly recommend this movie for anyone who is struggling as this movie portrays the struggle with the mind beautifully.
TLDR: Watch it immediately

Colorful Stage: A Miku Who Can't Sing (2025)

Cutting out complete biases- this movie is okay. It has a nice story, but that's all it has to it. The animation is nice, but the other key parts of the movie are lacking. I had a watch party with this movie which made it much more enjoyable. If I were to watch this movie on my own, I probably would not have enjoyed it as much as I did at the watch party. Overall, It was not the best movie, but it is far from the worst movie that has come out this year.

Thunderbolts* (2025)

The movie begins on such a high note, we had a good setup to the main plot, but it falls apart pretty quickly. The first quarter of the movie was magnificent. I was thoroughly enjoying it, until the main villian shows up. Now, they made a bunch of stupid decisions regarding the movie and some of its plot-points, but overall it had a lot of good moments too. The acting was great and Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova) did a great job at portraying how Yelena would feel about the things that were currently happening in the movie. The way that they 'saved the day' was honestly stupid. It had such a good setup to do something else, but instead, they chose a stupid way to save the day and end the movie. I could feel myself rolling my eyes at some of the scenes and other times I found myself pleasantly surprised at some of the ways they chose go on with the movie. Additionally, the second-end credit scene sets us up for something big and exciting. We did speculate this, but the end credit scene just confirms this. It was a very mediocre movie, but it was definitely better than some of the other recent Marvel films.

Brightburn (2019)

This movie gets so much hate for not being a 'perfect' superhero movie. But, that's not what it's about. It's a super-horror movie it's supposed to be scary, it's not supposed to be rightous. This is one of the movies I do not agree with the majority on about how they see this movie. I wrote an in depth film analysis about this movie if you want to read it you can click me to read it. It does contain spoilers, but I only reall go in depth for the first third of the movie, and skip over the last 2/3 of the movie.Another link to the analysis
